    A bit late, but the problem is solved, it turns out to be a limitation of WordPress. You can’t have a page with the same name as the slug. Thanks for the great support!

    Hi,

    In addition to the above mentioned information, I forgot to mention that apparently WordPress already understands the friendly portfolio URLS. From your preview (and also on our website which isn’t online yet since this is the last thing we need to solve…):

    So WordPress can connect the dots but it should make the url friendly example default. Since the portfolio page is implemented in the theme I think something small might have gone wrong after an update of WordPress. I’m pretty sure it worked before.
