I think there is actually a way to adjust the PHP code in the single-portfolio.php to exclude a specific category (since I am not a PHP expert – I reached this) however all the code I have added to the file doex not seem to exclude the one category I am trying hide.
<ul class=”pagination-wrap bar-styling portfolio-pagination clearfix”>
<li class=”prev”><?php next_post_link(‘%link’, ‘<i class=”ss-navigateleft”></i>’); ?>
<?php if ($portfolio_page) { ?>
<li class=”index”>“><i class=”ss-layergroup”></i>
<?php } ?>
<li class=”next”><?php previous_post_link(‘%link’, ‘<i class=”ss-navigateright”></i>’); ?>I know there is a way to exclude a specific category in this piece of code I just haven’t found the right code to do it. I am hoping your PHP experts can tell me the proper way to do it.
I have only hidden the post navigation temporarily, until I can implement the exclude category code.
Another problem with the recent update is that the Meta Options no longer work within the Posts.

For example when in the back-end of WordPress on the left side we have the menu allowing us to create posts, pages, testimonials, clients, portfolios, etc. I would like to duplicate the portfolio pieces (with all the back-end options associated with it – but call it “client coverage” I want everything to function like the portfolio but keeping the two separate – if I can do this I could alleviate the issue I am having with the URLs (which currently call /portfolio/post) as well as my issue with having these “client coverage” pieces appear where ever our portfolio pieces are dynamically pulled in.
I did this already – the problem with this is that it adds the “Featured” category to the sortable bar on the Portfolio landing page. Even though I have this category unchecked (requesting that is category does not appear on the portfolio landing page) but since it is in conjunction with with other categories I want to display it still show up as a sortable category.
If there is a way to copy this we would also like to disable the anchor link on the H3 on the landing page on only use the image as a click-able link.
We tested this on Crossbrowser.com as we do not have IE 11 here in our office.
Hello Kyle,
Our site is http://www.metzgeralbee.com
1. We would like the boxes to be able to switch back upon 2nd click – right not it’s no absolutely vital but if that function could be added upon the next theme update that would be awesome! As we certainly would like to be able to switch back and forth from the front and back of the animated boxes.
2. The backward text issue within the animated boxes is happening when using a private browser (incognito in Chrome)
We also are having issues with the boxes showing up backwards I have attached a screenshot so that you can see what I mean. This is on Google Chrome (Mac OS X 10.9.2 Chrome version 34.0.1847.131) We also ran a cross browser test and it does the same thing on Chrome for Windows 7.

Ok I found a work around but now I have one more question – is there a way to make the photo click to the full profile as well as the “View Profile” link?
