    Hey again,

I haven’t given up on this issue with the non-clickable portfolio thumb-sliders. Also, the fact that there are non-clickable nav arrows on the flex-active-slide on the actual portfolio item page really bothers me (and my test users) too. This issue, I can solve by redoing them all to rev sliders, so no biggie. I want to point out though, that the same issue is bothersome on the product page http://monroedesign.se/produkt/testprodukt-1/. There, I can’t change the product slider to a rev slider, right?

But the fact that the portfolio thumb-sliders are non-clickable is so bad that I have to find a solution (and I don’t want to make them an image). The zooming in slider-thumbs in the portfolio is the main reason I bought this theme. It makes my whole site unintuitive and it looks unprofessional and confusing.

I did some research and it looks to me like it is FLEXSLIDERS you guys bought from WooThemes, or am I wrong? If it is, they have support over there, only I can’t access it myself, as I’m not a customer of theirs. Maybe you can?

    QUESTIONS
    1. Are you planning on fixing the thumb-sliders for the next update?
    2. If not, could you please tell me what words I need to Google on this matter? Is it just FLEXSLIDER? Somebody gotta fix this.

    Cheers!

    A

    Hi Mohammad!

Cool. My host says it should work in 24 hrs. Thanx for clarifying this for me!

    Hi!

I’m having similar issues with image quality and I’ve spent 3 hours trying to fix it. I’ve installed “Simple Image Sizes” but I might not be putting in the right values in the right places or something (please see image of my settings).

The biggest problem is product detail image, please see:

    http://monroedesign.se/produkt/zlatan-mork/

    1. I would definitely like the product detail image in better quality. It is crisp when you click on it and get the pop-up but I need the actual product detail image to be crisp.

    2. Just like @flying_man my pop-up product image is also squished into the wrong ratio. How do I keep original ratio? Please see image.

    Please help!

    Hi Kyle!

Cool man. CSS for 1-3 worked….and I see how how you did it and what a silly question this must have been for you. I’m very grateful for your patience with me. I’m learning things from you every time I ask!

As for question 4, I’ll live with the four columns. I still love the theme!

    Thank you!

    Hi Mohammad!

Yes! Now it works! I thought I did the same thing but for some reason I could’t get it to work.

Now it works thanks to YOU! 🙂

    Perfect! Thanx!

    Happy girl.

Hurray! Your the man! Woho! Perfect.

I’ll post a screengrab here of how it turned out for other people who might need the same info.

Now…I’m gonna continue causing trouble for ya in my other threads. Be aware of the retard.

    Yes! It works! http://monroedesign.se/produkt/testprodukt-1/

Now, can I just bother you, master, for some 40 px padding below the title too? It’s too close to the price.

    🙂

And thanx @Kastyles for input. I guess me, the humble pupil, already had it on. Still don’t get the purpose but whatever! My problem is halfway fixed. 🙂

Do I edit the portfolio URL:s right underneath the page title as usual?

I forgot to check that and it’s still scary for me to edit stuff on the FTP.

    Hi Kyle!

The CSS is still added. I don’t see any changes and I need information to how I edit my new(?) H1 and H2. There price is still in the top.

You told me there was a better solution but I think you forgot to tell me what it was and what I’m supposed to do with it. It might also be me being a retard. 🙂

    Hi Kyle and Mohammad,

I’ve spent 2 hours trying to do this. Please provide all the info needed.

    I edited portfolio-type.php at /themes/neighborhood/includes/custom-post-types
    and I found line 49
    ‘rewrite’ => false,
    and I replaced with
    ‘rewrite’ => array(‘slug’=>’portfolio’),

Then my portfolio links obviously stopped working. Where do I edit the portfolio item URL:s?

I also tried the functions.php but I have no clue where to edit what in where? There’s no headline for CHILD THEME there…and when I search for ( ‘init’, ‘portfolio_register’ ); nothing comes up.

Very frustrating. I had to change back the portfolio-type.php now as my site is live.

    Please help.

    Hi!

I don’t necessarily need the base. The most important thing for me is to be able to create SEO-friendly URL:s that somewhat corresponds to my H1 on that page.

For example, for a portfolio item with lets say a book cover design I made, I want to be able to call it something like:

    http://monroedesign.se/graphic-design-bookcover-italy-book/

OK. But just to make it clear, do you guys mean that we can’t edit the portfolio URL:s even in the main language (without the WPML plugin being involved)?
