    After testing various plugin compatibility, it appears that the issue was with the “oAuth Twitter Feed for Developers” plugin that I came with the theme.

    In case anybody else is having the same issues. I was appearing to have admin bar problems because I had not yet setup the oAuth connection with my Twitter account. After connecting, everything is appearing back to normal. Connect it or disable the plugin!

    I am actually running into the exact same problem, too much space above and below the text on the full-width text box. I have read through this post several times, but still can’t get it sorted.

    I have attached screenshots of my current settings and what it looks like on my homepage.
