I have no idea how I could have missed that 😛 Thanks for your quick reply!
Thank you for your reply Ed. Useful information. I have managed to disable the redirect (I think?!) but have no clue what the DNS Check Errors mean. What does a “culprit” mean and how do I solve it? Is this culprit causing the 2.5s extra loading time?
Hi Ed,
I’ve contacted my host and he solved an issue that was caused by the W3 total cache plugin. He told me their hosting environment works better without caching… So after deleting the plugin, the website became faster. Im still not totally satisfied though; it remains slower than all of my other websites (same host).
@Swift Ideas – Ed: The minify plugin doesn’t do anything for me. I’ve contacted the host about the possible dns wait, but even after loading it remains slow. Not only the front-end, but also the wordpress dashboard/ cms is really slow.
I need a solutions fast as it costs me money not having the webshop running properly….
Ok thank you, hope the problem will be solved soon as I wish to have the webshop online before the end of the year.
This reply has been marked as private.Ok thanks but why is it loading slow? I have checked the plugins but can’t find a problem.
Anyone?
Hey Melanie, thanks for your help! I’ve disabled all plugins and reactivated them to see which one is causing the problem, but can not find any difference. The site is working a bit faster than before, after reactivating the plugins. What is the problem with the file admin-ajax.php?
Kind regards
I see that the homepage is loading a lot of inpage css styles i.s.o. in a style-sheet file. This is unnecessary right?
