A-HA! I apologize for not doing my due diligence before I wrote. Looks like a conflict between the theme’s WooCommerce templates and the Post Types Order plugin:
We do use that plugin pretty extensively. Any way you could address the conflict?
3) Grr. I found the problem. I was hiding the You May Also Like… upsells section with CSS. When that is hidden, the height of the Related Product images changes to 0px. That seems weird, but bottom line: You were right. It *was* related to an edit we had made. My apologies.
1) and 2) – It definitely is not a result of the child theme, because I switched to the parent theme and had exactly the same issue. But I did find the source of the problem. I *thought* I had tested with all plugins disabled, but I went through the process again and found that the button to re-order previous orders *and* the previous order details re-appeared when I disabled the WooCommerce Measurement Price Calculator plugin. This plugin provides crucial functionality for us, so I’m not yet sure what we’re going to do.
3) I still see this problem (Related Product images 0px in height) even when using the parent theme (yes, most recent version of theme and WooCommerce) and all plugins disabled. What else could be causing it?
Ed – you’ll get *what* code into the next update? I would appreciate a more detailed response, so we know how to proceed.
1) As I mentioned, the Neighborhood theme is checking a variable, woocommerce_allow_customers_to_reorder, which doesn’t seem to appear in the code of the current version of WooCommerce. Doesn’t that indicate that something needs to be re-examined in your code?
2) Regardless of whether the previous orders page is showing fine on *your* installation, it is not working for us. Even disabling all plugins and switching to the parent theme (to ensure that it isn’t anything in our child theme causing the issue) does not make the order details re-appear.
3) Related Products image size – is this the code you hope to roll in to the next release? Does that mean you have determined that it’s something in the Neighborhood theme causing this problem?
I appreciate the help, but I often get answers back from swiftideas that are so brief as to be almost meaningless. Please elaborate a bit.
This reply has been marked as private.I wasn’t actually asking where the setting was in WooCommerce – the problem was that the ‘Returning customer?’ link on the checkout page wouldn’t appear, whether or not that WooCommerce checkbox was checked. But nevermind – this appears to have been fixed in the most recent Neighborhood update.
I am running WooCommerce 2.1.6 and Neighborhood 1.68. Three problems after recent updates:
1) Returning customers no longer have the ability to re-order past orders. Comparing the Neighborhood version of the order-details.php file to the WooCommerce version, it is clear that the differences are substantial. For one thing, you are checking a variable, woocommerce_allow_customers_to_reorder, which doesn’t seem to appear in the code of the current version of WooCommerce. Allowing customers to re-order past orders is an important feature for us.
2) Details of past orders are missing. When I log in as a customer and look at the details for one of my previous orders, all I see is the name of the product and the featured image – unit price, quantity, total, etc. are all missing.
3) Related Products images at bottom of single product page are 0px in height. See here:

I recently submitted a ticket on this, Mohammad gave me some custom code to fix it, but that fix has not been rolled into the most recent update. No, I am talking about the form-checkout.php file included with Neighborhood:
neighborhood/woocommerce/checkout/form-checkout.php
So you modified functions.js? Will that mod be rolled into the next update? I do appreciate your help, but a complete explanation would be helpful, so that I know how to proceed.
Thanks – how did you resolve it?
No, they are not. I don’t know where you’re looking, but I am looking here:

Look at the bottom of the page. Only the descriptions are showing, not the images.

This means that on otherwise secure (https) pages, there are always at least two page elements (favicon and google fonts) being served non-securely (http). This generates errors in *some* browsers, and scares customers.
And yes, we are using the WordPress HTTPS plugin. It resolves the issue on other sites, but does not resolve the issue when using the Neighborhood theme.
Ed – nope, I never did figure this out. And their decision to have those product archive pages display differently baffles me.
