Thanks Ed!
Did you run into the same problem?
This reply has been marked as private.I have custom links in the standard WordPress menu area. I created another menu besides the standard menu. Like mentioned before I can add icons to the main menu but when I try adding icons to the alt menu links they do not show.
So the answer was creating a new template like I originally thought then copying the holding page php and and inserting it in the new template.
Inserting <div class=”container shadow”> after <div class=”inner-page-wrap <?php echo $page_wrap_class; ?> clearfix”> in the new template
My CSS
.shadow {
background-color: #fff;
box-shadow: 0px 0px 7px rgba(0,0,0,0.2);
padding:40px 0px 40px 0px;
}
.page-content .container {
padding-left:60px !important;
padding-right:60px !important;
}I know how with css and display none to eliminate to just show the title text and date text but I would like it to show an excerpt of text as well.
Ok I figured thats how you’d have to do it.. thank you!
The bottom one is the ideal effect on a large screen but I would like for it to be responsive with all columns.. 6 in total. ( I need a Golf & Gala option too)
I guess even for now I could use the revslider..
Also tried this one http://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-subscribe/ using [simpleSubscribeForm] and the subscribe box and button appear before any of the content.
All I have done is put the plugin in my ftp plugins folder properly and activated it. What I don’t see is the plugin on the side of the admin panel. I’ve used the plugin before on multiple sites and see it on the side. I’m not sure if it’s a conflict or where I would go to make it appear.
Thanks Ed you guys are awesome!
