    Dear Mohammad,

Many thanks – do you know when your colleague will be able to look at the issues?

Please check again, to be certain, this is the url: http://beautifuljoes.com/

It is up, running, and disabling the other plugins would cause aesthetic problems on a live site that is working fine.

If you can’t access the site I would suggest checking with: http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/beautifuljoes.com

    Hi Mohammed,
Website seems to be up, would you check again? I’ve asked our providers and done some external tests and seems to be running fine.

Also, there is a css Ajax call that is slowing down the site by 5s called “jckqv_styles” – do you know what this is?

    Thanks!

    Best,

    Jack

that is weird. I’ve contacted my hosts, hopefully they can restore an old database. Thanks.

    Hi Rui,

I asked my web provider to upgrade to a higher PHP, which was a success. I was then prompted to re-upgrade to 2.16, which I did. In the upgrade all my sidebar widgets were deleted, many of which were custom html. Is this normal, and is there any way to get them back, it would be a huge work to re-code them all.

    Thanks.

    Thanks Kyle.
In this case I guess I’ll leave it as it is.
It would be great to be able to add the cart to the top bar / aux links in future updates – or even if I could work out how it was being printed I could mod the header myself, but I can’t seem to get it to work no matter what I do…

But it doesn’t seem to be supported in aux links at all – even if I select it to go in the main header (see attached, presumably should be next to login on main header?).

    Thanks again.

I would like to use #8, with shopping cart, user and login in the top bar (currently not working). This would also hopefully avoid the long menu issue…
Ideally, I would have cart/wish list on the right hand side and login/account on the LHS – but I see the Aux Links option only allows for all on one side – which would be fine if I could get the cart to print into the top bar…

    Thanks!

Yes, please do — supercache will also need to be switched off and the cache cleared to see the effect. Thanks!

This error seems to be caused by a WordPress automatic update that changed the theme back to the default from Cardinal. This de-activated the Swift Framework and caused no end of issues. I reinstalled WordPress, set Cardinal Child to my custom theme, reactivated all my plugins and then restored the content from a back up.

It wasn’t plugins / no theme mods.
I isolated my custom css and it seems it was caused by an @font-face declaration, which I’ve commented out and replaced with a custom font through the control panel.
    Very odd.

    Thanks!

I had the same problem as mango_delight, which is now mostly resolved.
I am now only having trouble with Swift Slider in Firefox browser (displays fine in other browsers). Screencaps attached, I seem to be having an alignment issue with Swift Slider. Please help!

    Many thanks. J

    Hi Ed,

The first download caused the site to render out a totally empty html page (https://www.dropbox.com/s/beoq29n4ukt4zsk/Screen%20Shot%202015-03-23%20at%2021.48.43.png?dl=0) – but I include it just for lulz; the second updated link worked fine, the menu issue is fixed as is the slider problem. I think you can mark this resolved – thanks for all the help.

    Very best,

    J.
