I found the problem of the font ICONs not showing up.

A Plugin called “Bootstrap 3 Shortcodes” was causing the conflict. Im not sure if Dante is the real issue or the plugin 😛

Yes I am using a child theme 🙂 it doesnt make a difference if i switch back to normal mode anyway 🙁

And everytime I switch between the child theme and normal mode I have to always go into settings>reading and click on “A static page” because it always resets to “your latest posts” which is annoying.. The same happens when i update the theme too. Not sure if this “settings reset” feature you included has also reset some other settings that have maybe messed up my icons from showing.

I checked “Notify me of follow-up replies via email” (i just noticed) This should be checked by default I think

I have the same problem. Every time I do an Dante update my icons dissapear. I cant remeber how I fixed it but i know it was a headache. Can you please fix this issue one and for all please

Hi see screenshot attached. You can see that the paragraph text inside the impact box retains the font of the heading and not paragraph.

The other text under the box is set as the correct styling but its impossible to set text inside the impact box as paragraph.

Hi,
Im having a similar issue here.
Im using “Edit Impact Text + Butoon” and want to have the text wrapped in <p> (paragraph) tags. No matter what I do the font always ends up to the default header font. Even though there is an option to set it as paragraph. 🙁

Is there a fix to set the text to default paragraph font like i can do with all other text boxes?

This same issue happened when i was developing with my localhost using xampp (offline) so i dont think its a server issue.

I think its a plugin issue. I removed the last plugin i installed (just deactivating) didnt fix. WHen i deleted the plugin it my icons came back!!

The plugin that caused the issue on localhost was something else because i just used a new plugin.

The funny thing was that after i installed the plugin things were still ok, after a while it went strange.

So i definately think your theme has issues with various plugin compatibility. Looks like maybe other add-ons that have some font awsesome function override your settings. Really odd!

The offending plugin was “Bootstrap 3 shortcodes”. But you will have to play around for a few hours before things go funny after installing it.

Hi,
I just copy and pasted a shorcode into a text box, but have deleted the offending text box but no icons appear anymore.

So you tested it and you can actually see the icons appear on your device?

I did get this error though when i did “inspect element” in chrome.

My fonts have dissapeared again and now on my live test site. THe last thing i remeber was deleting some code. Reverting back a few previous versions doesnt bring them back.

Ok ok.. I just log in all my devices and Im good. Thats better that my original idea!

Im happy to develop live now that I have maintanace mode working! And didnt even need to test 100 plugins.

Ok.. I set up a new fresh live site, and only installed your theme and looks like the icons are ok now!

For some reason on Local host it didnt work but maybe because of all the themes and plugins i have tested.. But which are all not activated. So maybe some conflict somewhere along the line… 🙁 That will teach me for testing other themes!

And you guys have a maintanance mode! Must be the only one that does!

A tip for maintanance mode..
Can you make it only work on the current IP address of the local network? This way I can test on PC mobile and tablet while still be in maintance mode for everyone else.

But the other issue that most people dont have static IP so need to address this somehow 🙂

Anyway, you guys have the best theme!
