oh.. and going back through this thread there are a few minor things i am still trying to sort out.. the price of the product still sits on the left of the product image and covers the text when you hover over the product image.. any way to shift that to the right side? or shift the text to centre or right?
also.. Q4 never got sorted i think?
See screenshot, your product categories are on a new line for each. — is this still relevant? do i need to fix it?
fabulous! takes a bit of getting used to but is making navigation so much more efficient… one more question. I have a guys bracelet category of ‘stone bead bracelets’ and it works in the guys menu very well. is there a way to add that same group of products to the girls category as stone bead bracelets as well? I have girls chain bracelets and guys chain bracelets but the products are completely different.. for the stone beads i want to figure how to share the same set of 6 products under both guys subcategory and girls subcategory.
one more question .. i figured out how to change the order of the products on my products page, as well as my ‘guys’ page but i’m wondering .. on the girls page i have the products listed as well as the categories listed.. is there a way to choose which order they show up in? here is the page i mean – i would love to be able to have the bracelets first, and the necklaces second.
Q1) i think i have it figured.. choosing ‘categories’ gives you a mix of all your items so i cant use that. using featured gives you only what you have ‘starred’ in the products section as featured items. Using Latest Products seems to give me a mix of all the guys and all the girls. If i want to change the order of how the products show up in the slider.. i would change the date on the product itself and then use ‘order by date’ in the shop element?
Q4) no screen shot? def want to figure this one out
Q)5 got it. Is there any way to have two shop pages? to have the shop guys go to the male oriented store items, and the shop girls to the female oriented store items? i’m playing around with the woo commerce settings and it basically looks like from there that if i use ‘shop’ it is going to show all the items in one store. i’m obsessive about organization and navigation 🙂

July 24, 2015 at 8:08 am in reply to: Paragraph formatting stripped out in Atelier text block #197330done! thanks.. and what about Revolution slider? i’m not using it either.. its pretty complicated and Swift has a good image slider. Can i delete that plugin too? best bet is to get rid of anything i dont need so it doesnt bog down my site loading times.
This reply has been marked as private.July 24, 2015 at 3:32 am in reply to: Paragraph formatting stripped out in Atelier text block #197291i decided to re activate the plugins one at a time and see if i can figure which one is causing the issue.. and none of them seem to be! The formatting on the text block is the way it should be – with paragraph spacing intact. so problem solved for now! However,, when i deactivated the plugins, it scrambled my front page a bit.. i should be able to go back and add the elements again and it should be fine yes?
question for you too! i have some plugins left over from the last theme i purchased, and i should have deleted them but wasnt sure what they were or if they were theme or woo commerce plugins.. maybe you can let me know if these are Swift plugins or not and if not i can delete them.
WP Dance Team plugins called: WD Team, WD Slide, WD short code, WD Portfolio, WD shop by color and WD quick shop. Also oAuth Twitter Feed for Developers (which I am not using as i dont have a twitter). if this is a Swift plugin, and i’m not using it can i delete it okay? or should it be activated regardless if its one of the plugins the theme needs? thanks!
July 24, 2015 at 12:42 am in reply to: Paragraph formatting stripped out in Atelier text block #197284hi Kyle, its July 23 (Thursday) PST and i’ve disabled all plugins except for Swift Framework. The paragraph formatting on the site main page text area (to the right of the slider) works now!
do i now test each plugin one at a time to find out which is causing the conflict or you guys test the issue? thanks!
July 21, 2015 at 8:34 am in reply to: Paragraph formatting stripped out in Atelier text block #196339okay. will have to test tomorrow and get back to you.. nearly 1am here :p
OH! i had no idea! That solves the hiccup thank you!
okay i understand what you are saying. I’ve changed it to (for example)
Girls (top level shop)
Girls Bracelets (2nd level)
girls chain bracelets (3rd level)
girls wraps and leather (3rd level)and that works great. however.. I also have the headings
earrings, purses, graphic tees – and I dont want those in a 3rd level as I dont know what on earth to use as the 2nd level for that… i think i can make a custom 2nd level for the guys bracelets, but again run into what on earth to call a custom 2nd level if the only 234d level under it is tees. any ideas would be great – i know i can go back to a ‘normal’ menu system and it will work exactly how it looks on the menu edit area but the mega menu is so much more professional looking and i love it.thanks!
July 21, 2015 at 6:30 am in reply to: Paragraph formatting stripped out in Atelier text block #196297Hi Kyle, do you want me to disable all plugins that are ‘woo commerce’ plugins too? or just the ones that didnt come with the theme or with woo commerce?
hi Kyle thanks much! resolved.
actually when i go into the category of a particular product from the link on the home page (i.e. girls leather and wrap bracelets) it DOES show the price overlaid on the image – but it covers up the text of the image description. see here:
http://nightmaircreations.com/product-category/girls/girls-bracelets/statements/
is there a way to fix this? move the price to the right of the image? move the text to the left?
also, one of my elements is showing the ‘shop’ page link.. i used shop products, then chose categories as ‘asset type’.. the other ones that arent showing the shop link are shop products, asset type top rated. As i dont actually have any ratings on my site i’m wondering if there is a better option to use that would def show the shop link. I cant use categories, as i want to have the image link to all the ladies items not just one category of ladies item.
