The HTML output is for an image, however, the URL for the image is the PDF link.

Chrome cannot render a PDF in the same way as Safari can within an image tag – I am surprised myself Safari can render what it is as strictly speaking the markup is wrong.

Add a custom class the Page Builder item that resides in, ex: white-highlight.

Then change the CSS to:

.white-highlight span.highlighted {
      background-color: #fff!important;
}

That will limit the color only to the Row or asset where you added the extra class to.

Hi,

They would only show a document icon if the search is returning a “Post” post type.

As you are using a plugin SearchWP to search for different posts types, the search results now return attachments(media post type) which is what the PDF’s are saved as.

You would need to hire a developer to integrate the custom search result layout for media type post types such as PDFs as unfortunate this customisation is beyond the scope of support.

You could simply insert your PDF links into your Posts, these would then display as expected in the results.

Please disable your child theme and all plugin so only WC & the Swift Framework are active.

Please then locate this file: nota/woocommerce/content-single-product.php and replace the contents with this: https://gist.github.com/webadelic/55eee10af88f2dae10773c9e738f9821.

Please leave the child theme/plugins deactivated whilst I am investigating this also. I was not able to make use of your FTP, it kept loading infinitely:
