I was able to update everything else – standard-themes, plugins, etc.
In the past there was no problem with updating Cardinal with this hoster (it´s Hosteurope). I don´t think that they changed anything.
What do you think might be the thing my hoster can do?

But did something change? Before I could update via “updates”. I never had to update the theme manually.
On my dashboard I get nothing related to updates.
Do updates have to be done manually from now?
And: will changes and settings remain? I did everything in the theme options or in a child theme.

Whoops, fixed it myself.
Had to deactivate the plug for all mulitsites, then I was able to update via “Appereance > Install Plugins”.
Reactivate, done.

Hi Rui.
No, for the bundeled Premium Plugins there is no update-notification on the standard-plugins-page.
It is only found in Appearance > Install Plugins > Filter “Update available”.
It´s no big thing – but I think I once had this “notification after theme update” that Ed mentioned earlier – but it´s gone.
If there is a way to bring it back it´s fine – otherwise I´ll go and check it manually after theme update.
Nevertheless – it´s cool how it works now! Much better as before when I had to download the updates and install them manually!

Okay – I have an issue.
There is no notification. Revoslider HAS an update, but there is no notification…
I think I had it once, but maybe I clicked something to close it and now it seems to be gone forever. Do you have an idea how to bring it back?

So: just to go to Appearance > Install Plugins > Filter “Update available” – Voilà.
[ Edit: Here was an issue, but I have to verify further. Maybe there is no issue 😉 – Just ignore this line… ]

I´m afraid, I can´t. I´m not able to switch back to any other theme once Cardinal was applied in a multisite.
It´s an issue I haven´t reported yet.
If I have the time I´ll set up another WP just for testing this.

Just updated to Master Slider 2.18.2 – the problem is still persistant on IE 9 and 10.

But what is going on? Seems to be classified, everything private, wohooo…
Are you threatened by someone?
No kidding, I´m also interested in a smart way to update the premium-plugs.
Cardinal 2.16 changelog says “Updated revslider and other included premium plugins” – but Master Slider ist still 2.16 where the latest version is 2.18.2.
How will this work in the future?
