(I think we were working in the theme settings at the same time, I kept losing settings and wondering why haha – woops!)
I’ve since noticed this issue only occurs when the post has a sidebar. This may be a bug you wish to address, though for now I’ve decided to remove the sidebar to avoid the problem.
July 16, 2015 at 11:25 am in reply to: Header Option 2 + Retina 13" Macbook + Chrome Browser = Logo Alignment Bug #195171Hi there,
I’ve cleared browser cache and plugin cache, disabled all plugins, even tried the code above while adjusting the margin value and no matter what, it doesn’t fix the spacing. The logo is still aligning to the top when viewed on a retina screen, then back to the middle for a normal screen.
This is happening on both Safari and Chrome, on my Late 2013 Retina MBP 13″.

It is definitely an improvement, but not quite right. Now the logo on a retina screen is roughly in the right spot but much too high, like it is aligned to the top, rather than the middle.

I found when I tried to go through checkout, it would give me errors along the lines of ‘please make sure you have filled out all of the information correctly and that javascript is enabled in your browser’.
Anyway, I have found another work around, so incase anyone else is reading this post, in the Stripe settings, I deselected the “Enable Stripe Checkout” option. This puts the credit card input on the checkout page itself rather than a modal window, and works fine.
The problem is with the Stripe plugin anyway, so I will just wait for them to correct it, and use this workaround for now.
Thanks so much for your persistence and help on this.
Hey Ed,
Thank you for looking into that. That explains why it was so confusing to tell if it was the themes fault, I must have tested it with another theme using Bootstrap as well.
I’ve advised the Stripe developer of your findings so will see if they are willing to do anything.
Anyway, for now, is it possible for you to provide instructions on the code changes I should do for the work-around you implemented? It’s completely fine to sacrifice the help bar at the top. I’ll need to implement this work-around on my main site – I just created this sub-domain to make it easier for you to test without the interference of all my other plugins. Plus I’ll want to keep implementing it when Cardinal updates.
Thanks again.
Steph
Blah I’m an idiot, sorry Ed. Take the “http://” bit off the host. That should do it.
