Parallax may not have been supported on mobile when this post was written, but I just want to note that I have actually seen some WordPress themes’ parallax work properly on mobile devices. Squarespace’s parallax elements also work on mobile devices. So I think mobile devices do support it now. Any chance of implementing it in your themes? I have Cardinal and would love to see the parallax effect work on mobile devices, rather than just rendering the image in the asset to scroll with the page.
This reply has been marked as private.Awesome, that worked. Is there similar code I could use to get the comments area to appear at that width as well?
That also broke the site.
I tried that and it broke the theme. I must be doing something wrong.
Thanks, I found it. How might I add these files to the child theme to avoid them getting overwritten in an update? Can I just create a “swift-framework” folder in my child theme folder with a “layout” folder inside containing the .php files I’d like to manipulate? I’ve never had to add files that are so deep in the hierarchy to a child theme before, and I don’t want to break the site.
Thanks for all the help, Kyle.
Thanks Kyle, worked like a charm!

Hi Rui,
I just copied and pasted the code that Kyle supplied at the beginning of this thread, and then changed the color codes. Apparently that wasn’t right, because it didn’t work.
I want to change the menu button styling as well. I inserted the CSS you provided into the Custom CSS area, but it didn’t do anything. Where to I add the !important?
Also, the site I’m working on isn’t live right now, just FYI.
Thanks guys.
