Hi,
as also reported in this post on April 27th
http://www.swiftideas.com/forums/topic/image-banner-in-full-size-row-cuts-down-resolution/
the quality/resolution (NOT frontend size) of the source image is cut down to max 1024px width instead of being full quality/resolution as it should be (checked in the source code with chrome inspector).
I guess the image should be sourced from the full size original picture and not the reduced ‘large’ 1024px one.In the linked post Kyle offered a temporary solution by manually editing the Swift Framework plugin files, which unfortunately is not very convenient.
$img_object = wp_get_attachment_image_src( $image, 'full' );
For the moment I gave up on this and used a regular image asset, which works fine at full quality source with the same options.
If you could forward this to the development team for a quick check it would be great.
Thanks for your help.
Hi,
as I wrote my image is 1920px wide and gets resized to 1024px (large) while it should be full size as specified in the asset options.
Basically the ‘Full’ size setting does not seem to have any effect in the image banner options.
It looks like it is a shared issue as there are a few posts about this in the forum.
Please check the link my previous post see examples.
Thanks
Hi,
I can confirm this exact issue too in the mobile cart slide out menu.
I reproduced it on atelier demo site both on chrome (osx and android) and safari osx.
Oddly, only on the latest firefox osx (with window shrinked to mobile viewport) I don’t see the issue.

After checking 1.51 update I just wanted to thank you for being so open to user feedback/suggestion. Not every developer around does the same.
Didn’t expect to see the flash ‘fix’ too in this one. Peace of mind achieved 🙂
Again, thank you.
Regards

June 17, 2015 at 4:06 am in reply to: Sticky sidebar behaviour with hero heading after 1.50 update #185240Hi, thanks for checking.
If it can be of any help, I noticed that the sticky sidebar on mobile (latest chrome stable for android here) creates a lot of blank spaces at the end of the page between the contents and the footer (see screenshot), while it’s ok when sticky is disabled.

My bad for the poor explanation.
For slow I mean that on pages with very big heading (600+px) there is a more noticeable delay on load created by the pull down animation, which I think is intended and indeed works great for pages like shop and products with small headers (300px) where I prefer to use this style. But with tall, almost full screen heading pictures I feel the ‘jump’ in the two steps animation is just too big and causes an unnecessary delay on load, that’s why I had chosen a simple, static heading that loads in full instantly without pushing down the page contents.
I already created a lot of descriptive content driven, tall heading pages with the static hero heading style in mind, but now everything is moving/animating and does not fit very well anymore.
It would be of great and very much appreciated help if you could consider adding an option to get back the old choice of hero tabbed+animation and normal hero+static heading. In my opinion it was the perfect solution for different styles and tastes.
Any other solution I tried from the forums to disable the fancy animation causes problems either with desktop or mobile viewport (incorrect heading resizing, conflicts with woocommerce shop page options, etc), so I came back here to ask for help.
Please let me know if more feedback on this is welcome.
Thank you for keeping up on this.
regards
June 15, 2015 at 11:24 am in reply to: Sticky sidebar behaviour with hero heading after 1.50 update #184506Hi,
Sorry I’m currrently working offline on a MAMP setup, but no special plugin or cached content.
Could you please check on your own setup with sticky sidebar on a hero page to confirm if others see this too?
I checked this on chrome, firefox and safari osx.thanks
June 15, 2015 at 9:49 am in reply to: Hero Tabbed Heading gone on product pages after 1.30 update #184462My apologies for bothering again with this long discussed topic.
After updating to 1.50 the issue with the hero tabbed animation we discussed here is fixed (thanks), but I see that the fancy-heading animation (slide-down) is now extended also to the once static standard hero heading pages, not only the hero-tabbed ones like it was till the latest update.
I was wondering if you could please consider adding an option to enable/disable the hero fancy animation on a per page basis (with meta?), or suggest a way to disable completely sitewide if there’s no other way.
I find that with big, tall headers (600px) the animation sometimes gets heavy and slow on some machines, so I’d like to keep a static hero heading for those pages.I tried disabling the fancy-heading transition with this css code from a forum post, but the result is a two steps, abrupt loading of the heading.
.page-heading.fancy-heading { transition: none; transform: none!important; min-height: 425px; }
Sorry again and thanks for the support.
Ok, that is exactly the issue.
Users/customers may think the site uses the ugly Flash while it actually does not, so it really needs to go in my opinion.
Related to this, I found that the option to disable Lightbox for product images in Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display > Product Image Gallery does not seem to work anymore (latest Atelier, Woocommerce 2.3.11), the Lightbox for products doesn’t go away no matter what.
As I don’t plan to use the Lightbox in my site, do you know a way to completely disable (not just hiding) it from the theme with a custom CSS or child theme code?
Thanks
Hi,
I’m using just the regular Flash player for Mac OS X and the embedded Flash plugin that comes with Chrome, no special extensions.
Those are the standard massages for users who have the Flash plugin installed but use it only on demand site by site (click to play) when needed.
That’s why it asks for permission to be allowed. However I found that the issue is in the Lightbox for images: only in pages with lightbox (all product pages and some others) the message appears. When I disable the lightbox the warning disappears.
It looks like the Lightbox used in Atelier (and Joyn also) has some unnecessary Flash calls which should be deleted I guess.
June 3, 2015 at 4:21 pm in reply to: Hero Tabbed Heading gone on product pages after 1.30 update #181173Really glad it’s sorted.
Many thanks for your assistance.June 3, 2015 at 3:45 pm in reply to: Hero Tabbed Heading gone on product pages after 1.30 update #181156Sure, for me all the pages except products show the proper hero-animation on load, with exact same results on my site and atelier demo site. for example:
– http://swiftideas.com/pages/meet-the-team/
– http://swiftideas.com/shop/?product_display=standard&product_columns=2&product_gutters=1&fullwidth=0
in all these pages the hero image slides out on page load on every device/browser I use, while in product pages the hero image appears suddenly and full on load. Again, till 1.22 product pages were fine too.
For the CSS code, I’m still under construction so cannot share links yet. If you could just suggest a custom CSS code to change the height of the main header it would be great, thanks.
June 3, 2015 at 3:17 pm in reply to: Hero Tabbed Heading gone on product pages after 1.30 update #181140Hi,
I fear we may still be talking about two different things, as the slide down animation I’m talking about is here on all Atelier hero-tabbed pages and has gone away only in product pages on my devices…sorry I don’t know how to explain further.
Anyway not a critical issue, I pointed it out because I thought it could be an easy fix. Maybe I’ll try to make a video/animation showing what I mean in the near future if I’m able to.
If possible I would like to ask you on more thing: could you suggest me a custom CSS code to make Atelier header the same height of this forum page header? I tried various solutions for Dante and Cardinal with no success in Atelier.
Thanks for your help
