Perfect! Thanks!! Marked as resolved.
Hey, I am trying to use this custom exerpt box you added in 1.5 per the conversation above, but it doesn’t seem to be showing up in the Team Carousel. See first team member here: http://minutemenministries.org/jimvangelderen/family/
The CSS above works only if there is a portfolio subtitle. If there is no subtitle, it is still off. See screenshot below and live version at http://minutemenministries.org/jimvangelderen/about-jim/
Eh, now it is not covering the parallax space. See screenshot below and live version on http://minutemenministries.org/jimvangelderen/
@Ed
A guy’s gotta work. 🙂 I tweaked the code and fixed it myself. Here’s my CSS to keep the size right and the parallax functioning properly.
.page-heading.fancy-heading { background-attachment: local; background-color: #343538 !important; -moz-background-size: 100%; -webkit-background-size: 100%; background-size: cover; background-repeat: no-repeat !important; text-align: left; }
Hmmm…doesn’t seem to fix the empty space, though it did help with the mobile menu button placement. Also, when I get to mobile sizes, the “Personal Shopper” link appears. I didn’t think I had that enabled. See screenshots for examples.
Eh, sorry, I reenabled my custom css to get some work done on some other headers. I’ll disable it again.
Code has been reverted.
Oh yeah. Didn’t notice that. Please advise.
Ed, here is the CSS that I put into my custom stylesheet that fixes the problem:
.page-heading.fancy-heading { background-attachment: local; background-color: #343538 !important; background-position: center center !important; -moz-background-size: 100%; -webkit-background-size: 100%; background-size: cover; background-repeat: no-repeat !important; text-align: left; padding-top: 120px; padding-bottom: 120px; display: none; }
That certainly helped. However, the header height now looks too large–lots of empty space. Any way to get that to shrink, too?
No I do not.
Sorry Ed, I somehow did not get a notification on this followup post, or I missed it.
I upgraded your user to superadmin status. You should have permissions now.
I have the Envato toolkit plugin installed (as directed by “Install Plugins”), but I do not see any options anywhere to input credentials or anything like that. In fact, I do not see anything Envato other that in the plugins list and in the error message.
@swiftideas (Ed), it fixes things somewhat. The image is centered now, but it is still way too large. See screenshots below of what it looks like with your update and what it looks like with my custom CSS.
