@creator – I found another post that was newer than mine that had a message suggesting to copy the missing redux framework contents from an older version of the theme to plugins\swift-framework\includes\options\redux-framework.
This has worked perfectly but I would suggest that you review your current theme package as anyone using the most recent version will have this issue. Given your team (Ed specifically) does not seem to think this is a problem is most likely a misunderstanding of the depth of the problem.
Hope this helps other people who may find themselves in the same position.
Thanks
March 27, 2016 at 1:01 am in reply to: Switft Framework 2.1.0 does not seem to have the redux framwork in the options #257995@Robertt855 – Thanks mate! That fixed my problem. Apparently by not including the files, new installations either do not have access to the options menu or are shown a permissions issue like I’ve been having. I’ve left a request as of yesterday but no reply. Your fix worked perfectly!
So after waiting for ages for a simple response, I just removed all cardinal theme files including the child theme and re-installed. i will not upgrade the theme until there is a proper notification that the upgrade problem is fixed. Hopefully you guys will message me once this is complete so I can safely update my theme.
Thanks
Is there an update on when this will be fixed?
This reply has been marked as private. This reply has been marked as private.I posted the same just before you. Thankfully I am just developing at the moment but it looks like the most recent update broke Swift Framework. Also glad I haven’t updated any client sites yet using their theme.
Hopefully they can push through another update to fix.
