Ok, I have increased the momory to 128 mb, I still have all the same error messages I had before, my page http://timotheeducrocq.com/category/david-hockey/ still doesn’t appear anymore neither the top menu or the footer on any categeory of my website.

Is there something else I can do?

I have installed the plugin, but it says that I’m far below the allocated memory limit as you can see in the screen shot I’ve attached. Do I still need to increase it? to how much? 128mb?

Hi Ed,

I don’t understand why I have to fiddle with the code on a website that is almost empty and has low visitors. My host is 1&1 which I believe is quite known in the business so why do I get this error? Also, if i do ask for more memory do this will make my top menu reappear? I don’t know much about php coding but it seems more like an error on the way category page are displayed.

I’ve been trying to sort my website for three month now and never managed to do it the way I want, I’ve done wordpress website in the past and never got that sort of problems, all I want is a menu holding my categories with a few pages in each of them, is that possible with this theme?

Hi Ed,

So I created a post that I added to a category, it is true now I get a thumbnail into the category page as you can see here http://timotheeducrocq.com/category/david-hockey/

But It hasn’t solve the problem that both my menu, the ticky one and the footer aren’t appearing, they reappear on the post page or on the main one, but not on the category page, is this normal or is there something wrong?

I don’t use post, I use pages instead, and yesterday they were all linked to the different categories I created, today they aren’t but they still exist on my dashboard. I haven’t touch my website, I wasn’t even at home today. 🙁

I think what you are refering to in your last link: http://timotheeducrocq.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category are my pages.

But I dont understand how they can unlink themselves without me doing anything, do you have an idea?

I don’t know if it’s linked to anything but all the links on my website aren’t working now, even my contact page. It’s extremely frustrating as I just joined an art dealer network and people are going to come to my broken website.

Do you know what could be wrong?

I don’t think we understand each other. Look at this page: http://timotheeducrocq.com/category/asger-jorn/

the footer is gone, the list of artists on the top right corner too. If I add your custom css, the name of the artist (category) disappear as well as the footer and the list of artist in the topbar.

Really, what I would like is to get rid of this category archive page, it is no use for me and just creates problems, if you have any idea on how to do it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Oh and about category/archive options you told me about above, there isn’t the possibility to set “feature image set”, nothing is said about posts either nor thumbnails, so I have to admit I’m completely lost.
