Hi,
I figured this out!
Cheers
Hi Rui,
Yes, I have the latest version of both the theme and the plug-in
I put the headline in H1 tags like this: <h1>Find your perfect engagement ring</h1> which pulled through the style within the plug-in, but then when the slider is used on a page the styling is not displayed:
http://www.howtobuyanengagementring.com/?page_id=14950&preview=true
The style is still that of the ‘dante_h1’ under the ‘layer general parameters’, which is the stock theme H1 format. I’d like it to be my updated H1 format
Any help would be gratefully received!
Alastair
Hi Kyle,
Would you be able to provide the HTML and CSS required for 5 columns please?
I’m not technical and have been reading some tutorials online but am struggling
Many thanks,
Alastair
Awesome – thanks so much Kyle
Hi Mohammad,
Those buttons aren’t quite the same as the colors that I would like to use
If I want to change just the hover state for a transparent button, can I use the code similar to the maximearmstrong’s above?
a.sf-button.custom-yellow:hover {
background-color: #ede263;
}If so, could you please let me know exactly what i should put into the ‘Button extra class’ field when I generate the button?
Thank you
Hi Mohammad
After quickly mocking it up, I’d like the three colours to just appear as the hover states for the three options.
So the regular form will still be the transparent button, and each of the hover states will be as per the mock-up attached
Would that be possible?
Thank you for all of your help,
Alastair

I’d like to also create custom button colors for my site, similar to the above.
I have 2 colours that I would like to use.
Could you please show me how I should adapt the above code for the 2?
The two hex colours are:
fbcb43 for normal and e25049 for hover
e57368 for normal and for hover f4b822If you could also let me know exactly what I should enter into the button short code to make sure that the button knows to pick up the custom CSS, that would be great.
And when generating the button shortcode, should I just use the ‘accent’ color and will the custom CSS then override?
Thank you for all of your help

I’ve updated, added the CSS but I’m still having issues with Chrome
Here’s my site and the background on the fifth section down on the homepage is meant to be an image of a book, but isn’t displaying for me in Chrome
I’m happy to give you my log-in details if that would help?
Thanks,
Alastair
That would be awesome! Thanks Kyle
Hi,
I’d love to be able to place a semi-opaque background behind text on top of an image..
In a dream world I’d love to be able to do something like the examples on this site e.g. the copy for ‘cuptime’ or ‘athos’ when you scroll down: http://trendwatching.com/trends/internet-of-caring-things/
However, less ambitiously it would be great to be able to recreate something similar to the top banner here: http://www.squiz.net/au/stories/case-studies/city-of-sydney
It would mean images that feature both light and dark could be used.. At the moment the images has to be predominantly light OR predominantly dark to be used and images often can’t be used because some letters that are placed directly onto the image can’t be seen
Thanks,
Alastair
Hi Mohammad,
Thanks for all of your efforts with this. We’re definitely getting closer, but there is still the black footer at the bottom of the page, although the links have disappeared: http://www.howtobuyanengagementring.com/lpv
Is it possible to remove the black footer completely?
Thank you again,
Alastair

Thanks for that. Im still struggling to get it to work. I have also taken away the header from that page, so at the moment my custom CSS for these two functions is separate:
.page-id-13695 #header-section {
display:none; }
.page-id-13695 #footer-wrap {display:none !important}Could the CSS for the header be affecting the footer CSS? Should they be combined because they are both referencing the same page?
Thanks!
