I found a way to easily add add a button using shortcode with a plug-in: https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/shortcode-in-menus/
I should also add that I turned off the ‘Nav line indicator’ (see image) in Theme Options -> Header Options -> Nav line indicator, as it looked strange with the nav line indicator under the button in the header.
Hope this helps 🙂

Any other approaches you’d recommend?
Thanks.
Hi phase44,
I haven’t tried to fix my page yet.
I believe there is a hot fix – a new release of the theme to resolve this issue. I also think you need to check with your host if they allow or can enable “url file access”.
I’ll update this topic when I try to fix my site later this week.

Thanks Cosmin. That’s a good strategy to follow.
Hi again,
When using the shortcode it makes it very difficult to centre the button. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Brad
Hi Cosmin,
I didn’t realize that if I actually viewed the slide on the site the button shows up. When viewing the editor the shortcode shows up.
Also, I had a look at the demo content and there was a different method used to insert buttons on the rev slider.
This was the code used on the demo site:
<a href=’#’ class=’sf-button slightlyrounded accent large’>Tell me more</a>
Thanks, Brad
Hi Cosmin,
My apologies for the question. The padding (border) option is right in the Rev Slider options (see attached image).
Must have missed it late at night 🙂
Thanks, Brad
Hi Cosmin,
Do you just paste the shortcode right in? Because if I do that the shortcode text just appears. Do I need to add something before it?
Thanks, Brad
Hi Cosmin,
I figured out what the issue was. In the CSS there is 12pt of padding on the right of all the icon classes and no padding on the left, which results in the icons being skewed to the left when you try to centre them. I’m assuming the padding is there to separate the icons from the text if they are place on the right.
Attached is a screenshot of the page with the centred icons after the fix.
Thanks, Brad
This reply has been marked as private.Hi,
I figured it out. I needed to add  the custom class: no-arrow.
Thanks.
Hi Cosmin,
My site isn’t live yet. Can I give you a user ID and password so you can take a look?
Thanks, Brad
