Hi guys,

I would like to change the permalink structure for the blog posts. I want to remove the date and only leave the post name into the link. I currently have 3 posts. Would there be any problem if I select the post name option in permalink settings? Will that create any problems?

Also…I have over 50 portfolio items. Would changing the permalink structure for blog post cause any problems for portfolio items? I’m close to launch and I don’t want to take any chance now.

Hi,

No you won’t lose anything when changing the permalinks.
The Portfolio Custom post type has specific options change only if you think it’s necessary.

So basically I just change to post name and that’s it? As in the attachment?

exactly and save. Sometimes it can be necessary to re-save it.
