OK – I really love the video slide options for Cardinal. When using the demo content, I can get the slide to play the video = great – here is the example: http://kwdesignonline.com/testing-b/
I wanted to get a different video to play. I followed the video compression steps from this post: http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/video-compression-help-and-hints/ and everything seemed to work. I had a .mp4 and .webm file. I could view it locally. I uploaded it to WP media and went through the steps to have it play in the slider on the page. Nothing – it only spun endlessly like it really wanted to play something but couldn’t. Ok – I was thinking it didn’t like being housed within the WP file structure. I uploaded it via ftp to a video folder within the root. Same non-playing issue.
Do you have any ideas or helpful sites to figure this one out? Any ideas would be helpful.
Thanks,

Can you provide us the link of the page you are trying to setup the video. We also will need admin credentials so we can check the settings. Please send it through private reply.

Since it’s a testing domain, I changed the homepage Swift Slider to use your slide experiment.
It’s working fine check it again.

July 17, 2014 at 1:39 pm #92199It technically works, but the video never shows up – I just see the loading bars (attached image) Are you able to see the video? Doesn’t load when I look on my phone either. Just a black area where the video should be.
Baffled.

July 17, 2014 at 3:18 pm #92283OK – just checked. It may be a Firefox issue. My video showed in Chrome v36.0 and IE v11.0.10. But the video did not show in Firefox versions 30, 29 or 28. I downloaded older versions to see if it worked in those. Your video shows up on Firefox though, so I’m not sure what the issue is.
Any direction you could point me in would be appreciated.
Thanks,
KendallJuly 17, 2014 at 11:44 pm #92397The conclusion is that is related to your hosting server settings, more specifically to the content/type of the files.
