    Hi there,

I want the Swift Slider to display a video. I tryed uploading it and adding it to a slide and also posting the url. In both cases the video doesn’t play.

If I put the video as a background in a row element, it works fine – see below the slider. Can you see what’s wrong?

    Cheers – Wouter

    Hi,

Can you provide us admin credentials in a private reply so we can have a look at your settings?
    Thanks

Please set the Background Type to video.

Sometimes… I feel so silly! Thanks. Thought I checked this a couple of times, but looks like I didn’t.

    Thanks David.

    And a bit on topic:

I want the row below this video to lay-over the video. As you can see, I have it set to slant Right-to-Left. I want the white part to disapear. Is there a way to put the video underneath this row?

    Cheers – Wouter

Put a negative top margin on the second Row. You will need to toggle Simply Control to off within the Row settings.

    Hi David,

Tryed this already, only the slant effect is getting beneath the video in this option. Something with z-index maybe?

Have you removed this? Maybe create a test page where the team can see this again if this is a live site?

    Hi David,

Didn’t remove it, just put in the -100px in margin-top as you suggested… It looks like the video is over the slant effect.

The one thing I need is for the video slider to be beneath the slant effect.

    See image

    Cheers

    Hi David,

Any idea when you can look in to this?

    Thanks.

Apologies for the delay, the recent WooCommerce update has consumed a lot of time testing and providing updates.

It would not be possible to get the video to display within the slant as the video height is not calculated as part of the slant itself.

Unless you’re referring to the z-index of the slant overlaying the video? Maybe I have misunderstood you. This what I currently see:

    Thanks.
