Use rel="nofollow" on specific button

How can I create a nofollow link from a button shortcode? I only need to use this attribute on some of my buttons.

[sf_button colour=”accent” type=”standard” size=”standard” link=”#” target=”_blank” icon=”ss-erase” dropshadow=”yes” extraclass=”extra-class”]Button text[/sf_button]

I added rel=”nofollow” to the page in text editor, but I can’t see the attribute in the html code it looks like this

Yes Morten that is not a valid shortcode parameter.

You should simply copy the HTML generated by the shortcode out using the Chrome web dev inspector.

Then manually add your nofollow attribute to the link. You can then paste in your actual HTMl button and not the shortcode.
