Is it true that:

Updating this theme will lose any customizations you have made. ‘Cancel’ to stop, ‘OK’ to update.

Is there a way to upgrade while saving customizations? I haven’t added any custom code, just changed theme defaults and added pages etc.

That applies only if you edited the theme files directly.

You content and theme options will not be lost when updating the theme.
