    This is the first time I’ve worked with rev slider. Last time I updated, I lost all my slides and had to recreate them. I see there’s another update, but I’m not sure I want to re-create my sliders.

    Is there a way to save your slides when you update? I’m sure there has to be….

    Im not sure why you would have lost your slides, how did you update? The sliders are stored in the database, not within the plugin files.

    Hey Ed,

    I downloaded the new plugin via the link you left in the thread. I deleted the current version of the plugin via the WP CP, then uploaded the new version of the plugin.

    Is that the reason why the slides were not saved?

    No idea. They shouldn’t be deleted if you remove the plugin, but it might be set up that way.

    The other way to do it would be to FTP the updated files to replace the old ones.
