    Hi guys

    I tried and delete every single PO file in regard to the DK translation. I made a new translation which has been synched and saved but no changes come through. In which folder do you keep your PO-files? And why cant I use my translation? I hope you can help.

    Thanks

    Peter

    Hi,

    Translations are stored in /languages/

    You are using a child theme, so you will need to create a /language/ directory and place your language file there.

    Then in the child theme, open functions.php and uncomment (remove //) this to include your new language file.

    // load_theme_textdomain('swiftframework', get_stylesheet_directory().'/language');

    Hi,

    What have you named your translation file? + extension?

    Hi If you check the Loco Translate, you will see the names. I have attached screenshot from the child-folder.

    But Atelier is loading from the global language folder. And the wishlist is loading from the plug-in language folder.

    And I dont seem to be able to change the location ๐Ÿ™

    I copypasted the files into the Childtheme folder.

    It seems you are missing the .mo file in the child theme.
    You should copy the atelier-da_DK.mo to the language, that’s the file that is the translation object.

    Got it solved. I was not aware I had to download and then re-upload manually to the child-theme folder for every single change.

    Glad it’s sorted. Any change that you do you must update the .po and .mo files in the child theme.
