Translation are overwrited

Hi.Im trying to make the site Japanese but does not work well.
WooCommerce officially provide Japanese translation file to ” wp-content/languages/plugins ” such as
woocommerce-admin-ja.po
woocommerce-ja.po

So It can be translated but does not work well.
Some words are translated but other does not.
It’s easy to understand the situation if you visit my site and put some product to the cart and see the cart page.
In “Cart Totals” shipping fee become “無料配送”(it mean free shipping).
It is translated from “Free Shipping” to “無料配送” in line 8240 of woocommerce-ja.po.
Yeah it is working in this word but does not work for other words like “Shipping”(line 5033 in .po), “Subtotal”(line 9242), “Note: Shipping and taxes are estimated%s and will be updated during checkout based on your billing and shipping information.”(line 9260)

I think if there is no .po file of wp setting’s default language in “wp-content/themes/atelier/language”, your theme overwrite language to English.

How can I fix it?

Hi,

Some of those text strings can be inside our theme files.
Did you also translated them and generated the .mo files?
