    Hi David,

The language files in wp-content/themes/atelier/languages are “almost” well translated. But, for some reason the french translation doesn’t display for some parts.

If I modify some translation then save the po file and send it back to the server, it works great. For example :

“Coupon code” is translated by “Code Promotionnel” into the po file (wich doesn’t display).

If I change it for “Code promo”, it works. I did this trick for many items and it’s ok.

Will the translated files be deleted by the future theme updates ?

    Many thanks.

    Hi,

    Great, glad it is sorted.

“Will the translated files be deleted by the future theme updates ?”

If you activate your child theme, I can talk you through how to add the languages there to make them update proof.

    Thanks,
    David.

    Hi,

You should add this code in the functions.php of the child theme

    load_theme_textdomain('swiftframework', get_stylesheet_directory().'/language');

And move the translated files to that language directory.

I’m having the same issue as many others. Unfortunately I’m not really sure if I get how I’m supposed to solve it. I have upgraded WooCommerce translations and I have been using POedit to add a couple of new edits. But I believe there was a lot of Swedish translations already made in the original file that was not used at all. Therefore I concluded that the translation files was not working properly before I decsided to edit them.

Is there a way to force Atelier to use the translation?

    Hi @avtramp

Please start a new thread so you can privately post your URL and WP login details for us.

Have you changed your WordPress language to Swedish?

    Cheers,
    David.
