    Hi David,

    The language files in wp-content/themes/atelier/languages are “almost” well translated. But, for some reason the french translation doesn’t display for some parts.

    If I modify some translation then save the po file and send it back to the server, it works great. For example :

    “Coupon code” is translated by “Code Promotionnel” into the po file (wich doesn’t display).

    If I change it for “Code promo”, it works. I did this trick for many items and it’s ok.

    Will the translated files be deleted by the future theme updates ?

    Great, glad it is sorted.

    If you activate your child theme, I can talk you through how to add the languages there to make them update proof.

    Hi,

    You should add this code in the functions.php of the child theme

    load_theme_textdomain('swiftframework', get_stylesheet_directory().'/language');

    And move the translated files to that language directory.

    I’m having the same issue as many others. Unfortunately I’m not really sure if I get how I’m supposed to solve it. I have upgraded WooCommerce translations and I have been using POedit to add a couple of new edits. But I believe there was a lot of Swedish translations already made in the original file that was not used at all. Therefore I concluded that the translation files was not working properly before I decsided to edit them.

    Is there a way to force Atelier to use the translation?
