Hi,
I have search the forum but I still don’t find the reason why some elements are not translated on my website. Sorry.
As you can see in the attachments many elements are translated into french, but some are not. I have forced woocommerced translation and checked with poedit, wich contains this elements in French. For eg :
“view cart” appears in english, but the po file is good : “voir le panier”.
Above “view cart” I have “continuer à la caisse” in french.“Coupon code” “apply coupon” and “update cart” are in english, as “shipping calculator”…
Have you an idea of the problem please. really sorry for my poor english.

Have you got the latest language pack? You can force the download in WooCommerce > System Status > Tools > Force Translation Upgrade. (Backup and translation files.)
– What have you named the translation files?
– Where have you saved them? They will need to bewp-content/languages/woocommerce/
Translating with PoEdit Instructions: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-localization/.
Have you tried using Loco Translate? https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/
Thanks.
July 23, 2015 at 7:49 pm #197234Hi,
Thank you again. I have tried the forced translation tool, without result. The files were into wp-content/languages/plugins
I created a woocommerce folder and move the files into it. You can see the name’s files in attachment.
The po files are yet well translated into french, do I have to edit them again ??? For “view cart” = “votre panier” wich is ok. But still displaying “view cart” on front end.
Can’t it be an issue with the theme ? I see the po files for french into wp-content/themes/atelier/language/
They look well translated too, but they are not loaded.Attachments:

That looks ok initially, the strings in the checkout are not anywhere in the theme – they are part of WooCommerce.
Can you add your FTP details so I can check you have the files in the right folder?
– Have updated your po file by opening it and then going to Catalog > Update from POT file.
Thanks.

I also find myself in the same situation. Some items are not translated so that everything is okay in the .po. I also have forced woocommerced translation … nothing happened.
I enclose the screenshot.
Do you have an idea that would help me solve this problem? Sorry for my English.Regards,

MohammadAugust 11, 2015 at 9:50 pm #202929Hi All,
Thank you for your help !But the issue comes from the Atelier theme, sorry…
As you can see in screenshot from a clean install of WordPress / Atelier, everything is translated when I activate the theme “twenty-fifteen”. But if I go back to Atelier the french translation vanishes again for some words.
You can try it with your admin account David.
Mohammad, your plug in works great, but I will need to use different languages then, and it will be hard to manage with it.
Regards

Have you updated your translation files recently? What are you using to do your translations a plugin or POEdit?
I cannot login your login page is not working, what is your login URL?
In the file: fr_FR.po look for this and add or update your translations, they maybe incomplete:
10484 #: woocommerce/cart/cart.php:127 10485: msgid "Apply Coupon" 10486 msgstr "" 10493 #: woocommerce/cart/cart.php:151 10494 #, fuzzy 10495: msgid "Cart Totals" 10496 msgstr "Voir Votre Panier" 10484 #: woocommerce/cart/cart.php:127 10485: msgid "Apply Coupon" 10486 msgstr "" 10479 #: woocommerce/cart/cart.php:127 10480 #, fuzzy 10481: msgid "Coupon code" 10482 msgstr "Code Promotionnel"

August 12, 2015 at 12:42 pm #203175Hi David,
Thank you again.
Yes, I just updated the translations. As I said It is OK when I activate an other theme like twenty fifteen (see attached files). When I go back to Atelier these words are not translated no more…
Login page of the test site :
http://fredwps-moroccan-touch.wpserveur.net/mon-compte/
Go to “boutique” to add a product, then “panier” to see the result.

Please also make the translation in the Atelier theme folder. Look like you have the WooCommerce language files 100% correct.
Now please check your language files in
wp-content/themes/atelier/languages
that should do it. File is:fr_FR.po
.Thanks,
David. -
