    Hello,

    I followed all procedures:

    1- Put Main Site in Portuguese Language (I am in Multi-Sites);
    2- Put Specific Store in Portuguese Language.
    3- Changed wp-config.
    4- Created pt_BR.po and mo using PoEdit.

    But even with all effort my store doesn´t show in a portuguese language.

    Can you imagine where I made a mistake?

    Thank you,

    Hi Daniella!

    Can you let me know in which folder you put the .po/.mo files?

    Can you maybe tell us your FTP and wp-admin login details so we can check it out?

    Cheers

    Hey, I see several problems that might cause this – you are on multisite and you have a bunch of extensions and plugins installed to the theme that might cause it to break.

    Can you deactivate all your plugins and see if that solves anything?
    Also the translation does not seem to be the only problem you’re having on your site, the slider for example is also not working properly.

    Cheers

    Thanks for letting us know, I will forward this thread to the developer of the theme!

    Are you sure you have the correct po/mo file in /language? This is the only reason I can think it’s not working.

    Can you try replacing functions.php 88-95 with:

    add_action( 'after_setup_theme', 'theme_textdomain_setup' );
    function theme_textdomain_setup() {
        load_theme_textdomain('swiftframework', get_template_directory() . "/language");
    }

    Let us know.

    Hello Ed,

    I replaced this code. Now, appears “Language” on my Header and I can select some languages. But this doesn´t work. I don´t need “Language” on my Header, I only need that the site be Portuguese.

    Thanks.

    That is separate functionality, added through WPML. You can turn off this header option in Theme Options > Header Options.

    Sorry, but what does Super Search have to do with the translate? Are there different problems?

    Checked and it seems there are strings that have been translated correctly? Check the search dropdown and wishlist dropdown.
