Hi

My client says there is a time delay with the like button on his site. What is the length of the time delay, or is this a fault? I have liked a story twice – the like shows up immediately on the post page but not on the main blog page, and when I go back into the site the post page does not show the like.

I just liked one post from the home page, the like showed up instantly, then again on the single post page, again showed up instantly

Apologize for the delay.

I logged in and tried to check it with plugins inactive and the behavior of the love it functionality is still wrong.

Will have to forward this one to the development team so they can check it further.

Hi @sorelh

The delay you are seeing is because of WP Super Cache. This plugin caches the pages and therefore you won’t see the updated count until the page cache is refreshed. There is nothing wrong with the love it functionality in this sense.
