    Well, I’m trying to put a title above the map.
    If I set a title in a text box it looks with a line on its right side.
    If I put some text in the text field and set it to H3 it doesn’t look like a title, it doesn’t a have a line on its right side. I used this workaround: put a text block within a 1/1 block in order to fill in title field, which is styled with right line. Text field empty.
    That’s why I asked for help regarding default text: if I let it empty, it’ll show default text.
    What I want to achieve is what you can see on http://www.puntobianco.net – I had to edit default.php file.
    But I don’t want to do it for any update. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Kyle, thanks for responding.
    Misunderstanding, though: I DID NOT solve this issue.
    I am stuck in a risky solution: do what you suggested to do, which brings me to have a H1, H2, etc. styled text which doesn’t look like a title at all (right side line’s missing) or do what I did, being careful to edit Dante’s default.php file at every new release.
    Why don’t you suggest developer to simply add a shortcode having stylized headings?
    Bye!

    You should be able to use the title of the widget, remove the default text and save. It would only reappear if you edit the text block again

    Actually, why have you not just added a widget title to the map asset?

    Hoping to have understood your question: because I chose full width map, so title would have been shifted a bit more to the left than the other titles.

    Hi,

    I’m seeing the right line in the title.

    Don’t know if you changed anything, if not please clear your browser cache.

    Hi Rui! I did not changed anything, I just did as following:
    1 text block with a title within a 1/1 block above a full width map block

    *** EDIT ***
    Guys, you are so kind to respond to my posts about this topic. I am aware of making you waste lot of time for such idiot request. I just wanted to say: “hey, like someone else, I had the default text issue in text blocks: why?”
    No matter, I will edit default.php EVERY TIME Dante will be updated… ๐Ÿ™‚

    Thanks. We are here to help the best we can our customers.
    What is exactly that issue in the text blocks?

    I think Kyle hates me… ๐Ÿ˜‰
    As a matter of fact, no real issue since I managed it with a workaround. Anyway, sticking to the topic’s title, it occurs that if I put a title to a text block, leaving the text field blank, the latter will be filled by default text.
    Some solutions:
    1) edit default.php file, as Mohammad suggested;
    2) format text as title, as Kyle suggested, but unsuccessfully, because heading in the text block have different style from titles;
    3) put a block text block with title within a 1/1 block

    I simply suggested you: 1) to add a shortcode for headings; 2) leave default text blank (which I can imagine it’s not possible ๐Ÿ™‚ )

    Adding some empty spaces in a text blog does not prevent this default text from re-appearing. I need these empty text blocks in order to add section titles to column areas that match section titles of full width text areas. Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Daniel

    @sodesigns

    I created an empty text block without any problem.

    Do you have the latest 2.69 version?
    Can you provide admin credentials to try to replicate it?
