Posted this as a Q in the support section, but wanted to make sure it made it over here as well:

The ability to have the swiftslider display posts in a given category automatically was a huge plus of Dante and something I look forward to appearing soon in Cardinal. Specifically, I would put it in the Page Header/Slider meta box tab, as one of the options in addition to “Standard” and “Curtain.”
