I’m replacing the featured image on a swift slider page, but the new image doesn’t show, it just shows a blank colour.

Also it is putting the uploaded image into “uploads/2016/09/slider1.jpg” folder, I’d expect it to go into ’11’ no?

    Thanks for your help
    Darren

    Hi Darren,

For your homepage right? Can you add a WP login so I can take a closer look?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

When trying to the slide content in the admin I’m getting several errors, mainly several resources being refused.
There is any restriction? do you also see this errors in the Javascript console when editing a slide?

I don’t see any errors when changing anything, nothing should be restricted, I’ve noticed it’s very slow with this theme though

I’m seeing duplicated directories in the errors that are showing to me.

Any customization in your htaccess? can you show us the content of the htaccess?

    Thanks

Guess you shouldn’t have that “new” directory in the htaccess.

Try to remove it to look like the default one.

Ok thanks, I;ve changed the htaccess to be as the default now, the slider image is still not showing, do I need to re-install the theme?

I’ve re-installed, the theme, swift framework etc but still the same problem, I’d really like to get this sorted as 4 days messing around trying to change one slider image isn’t getting me anywhere

    Hi,

For a Swift Slider, you set the image here:

Not the featured image. Please now re-test, I have set that for you.

    Perfect, thanks for that!

I’ve now reset the htaccess to the original as it was stopping me viewing any other pages on the new site.
