Suggestion – More lines to be hyperlinked in searchfield

Hi guys

yet another suggestion from my costumer:

He would like following in dropdown searchfield:

A: Display also item-number in search-restuls
B: Make the whole row clickable and not only the title. There is no reason NOT to, as it would simply work easier. There is only one action that is needed/ required on dropdown and that is the link to the product…

What I mean is that each row should be clickable. You display image in searchbox, price and suffix. But none of all that is clickable. Only the title is clickable. What I meant was that the whole row (image+price+title+suffix) AKA the whole box for each product should be clickable. Otherwise some customers will click and click and dont understand why they dont go to the product. Until they move the cursor around until they find out that only the title is hyperlinked.

+ I think itemnumber should also be part of the search results. This is used A LOT for B2B customers.

When you say item number, do you mean each result should be numbered? 1,2,3 etc?

Will sort it so that the whole item is clickable.

Sorry, what I meant was SKU (itemnumber). Many B2B customers who are returning customers know the SKU and search specifically for this. Therefor its smart to also display this in the dropdown auto-suggestion.

SKU seems something that I can imagine not everyone would want. What I’ll do is add an action call for you to add it with code if you want it.
