Suddenly, sidebar items and comments text has turned BOLD

Hi There,

Today I was working on a blog post (which is already published). For some reason, bold text appeared on this page in the sidebar and in the comments at the bottom. I checked a few other posts and pages and they seem OK, so I think just this one is affected.

The only thing I did differently was add an icon box. I thought that may have caused the problem so I removed the code, but the bold text persists.

I cleared my browser cache and WP Super Cache.

Any ideas?

I found the problem — there was an open ‘strong’ tag in one of the comments. When I came back to update this thread, the connection timed out.
