Static Full Width Header

Hello

Just purchased your theme and so far am impressed by what it has to offer.

One thing I can’t seem to find though is an obvious way to implement a full width static header image… would I just need to create a slider with only one slide to create this effect? Seems like that would just prompt a slower page load time though which I would like to avoid.

Ideally I would like to simply upload an image 1904×531 to serve as a background just on the home page, and then add some text and an image over that background. This section would reside directly under the header (see attachment).

So I guess I just had to give it the class “alt-bg” and then assign a custom class (“hero-home”) then set .hero-home.alt-bg {background: green}. Got it. Guess I just had to poke around under the hood a bit. I think I got this.
