Social Sharing and Languages

Hello,

Please can you tell me where to find and edit the options for social sharing on blog posts? I’d like to remove Pinterest and add Slideshare (if possible).

Also can you please let me know if it’s a Plugin I need to have the website language options work or if it’s something in the theme set up I’ve missed? Currently the language isn’t changing. If it is a Plugin is there (preferably a free) one you’d recommend for use with this theme?

1) You will need to edit the php files to do this, are you comfortable with editing php?

Unfortunately we do not support adding additional sharing options, however I will add to the list for a future update

Add this to Theme Options > Custom CSS:

.sf-share-counts > a.sf-share-pinterest {
  display: none;
}

Just wanted to ask for clarity as well –

We would like to have Portugese and Spanish translations (that we can write) for the 5-6 pages on the site (not the blog, these can just be in English). As WPML is fairly pricey, is this the only option for this?

There may be another plugin for translations but we currently have only tested WPML and that is the only one we support so if there are any issues with another plugin then we can’t help fix them for you. But feel free to try one out
