Hi,
I’ve noticed a couple of problems with the social icons:
1) Desktop: occasionally when you hover over the icons, the left side of the first icon gets cut off – I’ve seen this happen on the main Pinpoint site too.
2) Mobile: Similar effect but displays permanently.
May 2, 2013 at 1:21 pm #3667Hi,
Can you please let me know:
– what theme version you’re using
– what browser (desktop and mobile) does this happen in
– your WordPress version and if you have active plugins
– did you make any code customizations to the theme?I’m asking because I just tested and I don’t get that behavior at all.
Regards,

Support AssistantMay 2, 2013 at 4:16 pm #3730Hi,
– Pinpoint theme: v1.5.
– Desktop browser: Chrome.
– Mobile browser: Safari iPhone5 – looks perfectly fine on iPad Mini though.
– WordPress: v3.5.1 plus the plugins in the screenshot.
I did have some custom CSS code but tried without and the same problem occurred.
Thanks
May 4, 2013 at 12:30 pm #3903Tested with Chrome and was able to see the issue on our demo.
I’ll assign this to Ed since it’s a small Chrome/Webkit browser bug that can be fixed in a future update.

Support AssistantMay 5, 2013 at 11:57 pm #4035That’s great.
Any ideas on the problem with the mobile/iphone version as posted in the picture? I’m not 100% sure but think that it looked fine before the recent theme update. However, your demo appears fine on the iphone…
May 7, 2013 at 3:30 pm #4149For the issue in the image, check what custom CSS you’ve added. It’s also possible one of the plugins is adding some CSS that’s overriding ours.

Support AssistantMay 7, 2013 at 4:56 pm #4166The hover issue looks to be an issue with the css transition. We can set the opacity not to fade if you’d prefer?
Unable to see the mobile issue though, can you provide a link to your site?

May 8, 2013 at 5:41 am #4240I am having the same issue. Up until the latest update it worked fine on my iPhone 5 in Safari. The social icons look fine on a larger screen (my laptop) but on my phone they are shifted out of place. I appreciate your help. http://macobgyn.com
May 8, 2013 at 11:20 am #4249@renaud Yes, I checked your site and that’s exactly the same problem that I’ve been having on the iPhone/Safari setup – I’ve not been able to test it on other mobile devices though.
May 9, 2013 at 10:54 am #4350Hi there,
It seems you have an old version of this file – http://macobgyn.com/mac/wp-content/themes/pinpoint/images/[email protected]
I’ve attached a zip of the new files for you to add to the /pinpoint/images directory. These were included in the last update – how did you update?

May 9, 2013 at 4:09 pm #4407That seems to have fixed the mobile version. The problem still exists on the desktop version though – how do I disable the hover effect?
May 10, 2013 at 3:58 pm #4485Try this custom CSS:
ul.social-icons:hover li, ul.social-icons-small:hover li { opacity: 1 !important; }
