    The slideshow often requires 2 or 3 attempts to show the images.

    I have one instance that is not showing at all. I have tried using attached files and even pre-prepared slides.

    Sounds like a hosting issue, can you please link to the page with the slider?

    Can’t see any code being output for a slider. Where is it meant to be on the page? How are you adding it?

    Try this:

    – copy that [slider] shortcode you have in the text block
    – delete the text block
    – switch to Classic editor
    – since the slider would be the last element, paste that shortcode you previously copied, in Text view, at the very end.
