October 12, 2016 at 6:54 pm #296100Hi,
I just updated to Swift Framework Version 2.5.16 and it broke the width of all assets, it also seemed to stop slides rotating
I’m using the Joyn theme.
I downloaded the joyn.zip in from the thread above and tried to upload it as a plug in but it failed….
What can I do to fix this?
Is it possible to roll back a version?
If not when do you expect to push out the fix?
Thanks in advance
Tom
October 12, 2016 at 7:08 pm #296106Sorry I can’t see a button to edit my last reply…
I have just updated the Joyn Theme (earlier I updated the Swift Framework and assumed that caused the issue, but I guess the issue was a combination of Framework and theme?)
Updating the theme was removed the site width issue
But the issue with Swift slider not auto playing remains. I have three slides on that page and the first one shows then no others show…
Specifically if you set it to “slide” for the transitions it works…if you set it to “fade” it doesn’t, “fade” just displays the forst slide then no others…
That was working before the Swift Framework and Joyn Theme updates
October 12, 2016 at 7:54 pm #296112Hi @tomeeles
Just checking your site now. Just to confirm, autoplay works on slide, but not fade?
Let us know and we’ll investigate.
Thanks,
– Ed
October 12, 2016 at 7:57 pm #296113Hi Ed – Yes that’s it I think. Slide auto plays. Fade doesn’t:

October 12, 2016 at 8:24 pm #296121Ed – two more issues
1) Swift slider also keeps defaulting back to show 5 slides max.
2) If you navigate away to another tab and come back, the slider does not display – just leaving an empty gap.
October 13, 2016 at 10:36 am #296174Hi @tomeeles
Can replicate the fade issue, but not the 5 slides or the navigate back issues.
1) able to see 6+ slides without issue, can you confirm this further?
2) Do you have transitions enabled?

October 13, 2016 at 10:57 am #296181Hi Ed
1) I worked around this issue by setting it to 20 slides. According to the “i” info help text you should be able to leave number of slides blank to play all. If I leave blank, next time I edit that asset it has reverted to 5 slides.
2) Where do enable transitions? I have it set to “slide” (because fade isn’t working) and “loop”

October 13, 2016 at 10:58 am #2961821) Thanks, have adjusted the text on this. Show all should be “-1”.
2) Sorry, I meant page transitions – i.e. the loader between pages?

October 13, 2016 at 11:14 am #2961891) I just tested -1 that works
2) Sorry not sure what you mean – where is this setting?
The navigate back issue still there for me – any time I navigate to another tab/task etc the slider has stopped leaving white space
October 13, 2016 at 11:31 am #296202What browser are you using? Unable to replicate in chrome, but may be browser specific. Let us know.

Safari on macbook
Chrome on iPadBut it works OK in Chrome on Macbook…
I don’t have firefox.
October 13, 2016 at 8:54 pm #296362Hi there,
Have tested this on both Chrome & Safari on Mac, on a few sites including yours, and unable to replicate the issue. Are you able to check another machine?
