I’d used some custom css to get my site (www.rockluxury.com) to function and look precisely the way I want it to. This morning, I noticed that everything I’d changed reverted, so i decided to upgrade to the latest version of the theme… all my changes are still undone.
The CSS strings are still in the Custom CSS box but they appear to be non-functional. Any ideas?

You have a JS error on the page, it’s likely to be something to do with an issue in your code:
