    Upgraded Dante Theme from 2.62 to 3.3.32

    downloaded from Themeforest, uploaded via FTP
    1. save old theme folder – in case it has to be put back
    2. switch theme to one of the default WordPress themes
    3. FTP new theme
    4. Activate new theme

    I get the following error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_normalize_path() in /home/blucarr3/public_html/trailer/wp-content/themes/dante/swift-framework/meta-box/inc/loader.php on line 70

    I have restored the old version of the site in the meantime.

    What is causing this error?

    Hi,

    What version of WordPress are you using?
    Ensure that you have the latest WordPress version.

    WP version 3.8.16

    Do you think this might be the cause of the error?

    I think so, you should always run the latest version of WordPress.
