sidebar on blog not staying checked on update

Blog page with swift builder template wont show sidebar. When I check the side bar box and update the page it unchecks after the update.

On reading Settings – front page is checked home but posts page is not selected.

If I unselect home page and select latest posts the blog shows up on home page with sidebar. However, I need a static home page and a blog page with a sidebar.

I got the sidebar working but now the blog will not becoming “mini” so the text over runs the side bar.

Hi Robert,

First, please update your theme, latest version is 1.4.3 🙂

Second, try disabling plugins and test again, I thing there’s a plugin conflict in there.

Thanks. That worked. I had to disable the plugins and then open the blog page in swift builder and resave it.

Default meta options – default sidebar config is what got the sidebar working.
