Shortcode help

Hi Guys,

Im having a bit of an issue with the shortcode on this page – was wondering if you can help.

It works over on this page here: https://glassfurniture.co.uk/product-category/glass-dining-table/

But the same code does not work over here: https://glassfurniture.co.uk/product-brands/gallotti-radice/

not sure what i’m doing wrong.

Looks like you have not got the Page Builder active on that page.

Hi,

That’s because that is a custom taxonomy and it doesn’t work as standard.

Will forward to the development team to see if there is anything on our side that is possible to do in a future update to render the shortcodes used in those custom taxonomies descriptions.

Hi @Klarity

You’d need to ask this question to YITH – as they generate this content, and the theme has no control over the output. All it needs is for shortcode processing to be enabled on the description output.
