Did a search for this but found nothing in forum, When i click the short code icon in WYSIWYG it opens a box with 404, is this normal? i see no short code menu ” I’m assuming that’s what it is suppose to display” from other themes with this option.

    Hi,

Definitely not normal. What WordPress version / theme version are you running? Any plugins active? Also, what server are you on?

This could be a permission issue on your server too; let me know about those questions and we can take it from there.

    Regards,

Could you try a fresh install? Might have been an error on installing.

Does your hosting provider allow PHP and WordPress?

    Thanks
    Ben

Uninstalled Theme and uninstalled WP, reinstalled WP and new download of theme – problem still occurs.
tried older version of WP and made no difference.
Host says thousands of WP sites in their hosting, don’t know what my problem is.

    Hi there,

This is likely due to server file/folder permissions, or something else server related.

Can you please try setting CHMOD 755 recursive for the /includes/sf_shortcodes folder. It may also be something set on your server that doesn’t allow the direct file access.

Let us know how you get on with the CHMOD.

Ok, you might want to ask your host if they have anything set too.

This resolved itself with the latest theme update.
