    There are problems selecting fonts. Just one example: Selecting “Open Sans 300” is possible but the font used! is “Open Sans 400” and not the selected “Open Sans 300”! How to solve this problem?

    Hi,

    Just made a test with this and Opens Sans 300 was correctly used. What theme version are you running?

    I am using 1.4.2.
    I select “Open Sans 300” for the body and “Merriweather” for the headings. The page source shows http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans%7CMerriweather%7CVidaloka (By the way, I never selected the font Vidaloka!). Following the link and you see “font-weight: 400;”. And that is the font used when I select “Open Sans 300”.

    Can you test and let me know what happens when you switch them around, or use Open Sans 300 for both options?

    It tried. But it remains the same:
    Open Sans 400 AND! Vidaloka (The font I have never selected).

    @font-face {
    font-family: ‘Open Sans’;
    font-style: normal;
    font-weight: 400;

    }
    @font-face {
    font-family: ‘Vidaloka’;
    font-style: normal;
    font-weight: 400;

    }

    I’ll need to log in and do some debugging – please privately reply with your WP admin login and I’ll have a look.

    Sorry, this is not possible at the moment. Please tell me what I have to do to make it work.

    If I knew the solution straight away, I wouldn’t have asked. I need to see what’s causing this issue by debugging with Firebug in your install.

    You could test a bunch of things yourself, like disabling any active plugins, checking the Firebug console for errors, trying a different browser, re-installing the theme…
