    Hello there

    In your Caption CSS for the Revolution Slider you display:

    font-family: “Din Text Pro Regular”, Verdana, sans-serif;

    I guess this the Google Font & Web Font.

    If I want to use Myriad Pro for example and I replace with this:

    font-family: “Myriad Pro”;

    Do I need to add more to this line of CSS to ensure the font works on all browsers?

    Many thanks.

    Hi,

    Myriad Pro is a Windows system font as far as I know, so you’d need to have it converted to a webfont, uploaded in the theme folder and then declare CSS @font-face for it in the Custom CSS theme option.

    Otherwise, simply adding custom CSS to define that font for headings (which is what we use Google Fonts on), would only work for Windows users.

    Hi there

    Sorry I don’t really understand the first paragraph of your reply. Is it better to use, as per your CSS file:

    font-family: “Google Font”, Standard Font, sans-serif;

    My question is also: why are there three fonts list as above?

    I have just looked at my site on an iPad and as you seem to suggest the Revolution Header appears in Times or something similar not Myriad Pro (www.systems.co.uk). I don’t really mind about not using Myriad Pro. I just want a font that will work consistently. Should I therefore use a Google Font?

    Thanks for your help

    My question is also: why are there three fonts list as above?

    It’s called a CSS font-stack and it ensures that, in case the user doesn’t have the first font on his system (or it can’t be used because of some error), the browser will use the next one in the list.

    I’d suggest using Google Fonts, you can set them up in the theme options.
